Hatboro-Horsham Hires New School Tax Collector
School officials said a firm will replace Kimberly Passanante, who retired after 33 years. The firm will collect taxes in Horsham Township.

HATBORO / HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —The Hatboro-Horsham School District has appointed a new real estate tax collector for Horsham Township.
Hatboro-Horsham School District Board of Directors recently appointed Keystone Collections Group as the school real estate tax collector for the parcels within Horsham Township.
The appointment is effective July 1.

At that date, Keystone will begin mailing school real estate tax bills and collecting taxes.
“Taxpayers will have the option to pay their real estate tax bill using Keystone’s online portal and receive receive a receipt after completing their transaction,” said Joe Lazzaro, Keystone’s executive vice president. “I hope taxpayers take advantage of Keystone’s convenient online tax payment options.”

Bill Stone, the district's director of business affairs, welcomed the move.
“The district is excited about the new partnership with Keystone,” Stone said. “Taxpayers should expect a convenient transaction supported by excellent customer service. We are pleased to provide more ways for the Horsham taxpayer to pay their real estate tax bill, many of those options at no cost."
The firm replaces Kimberly Passanante, who served as the district’s tax collector for 33 years.
"We thank her for her loyal service to Hatboro-Horsham School District and the community and wish her all the best in her retirement,” Stone said.
Taxpayers should forward a copy of the school tax bill to their mortgage company to ensure timely payment and processing if a mortgage company currently pays the school real estate tax.
