​Hatboro-Horsham to Induct 7 into High School Hall of Fame on April 28

Ceremony is followed by a luncheon

The Hatboro-Horsham High School Hall of Fame, founded in 1990, pays tribute to alumni and others who have served and brought recognition to the District. On Friday, April 28, the 2017 inductees will be recognized and honored for their outstanding achievements and significant contributions to the District, community and society. The seven inductees exemplify the core values and commitment to learning and growth that are the foundation of the Hatboro-Horsham educational experience.

Candidates are selected for the impact they have had in the Arts, Business, Education, Government/Community and Science.

Dr. Gerald Strock, Teacher, Principal and former HHSD Superintendent

Dr. William Koprowski, Professor, Health Care Executive, Attorney, Congressional Analyst, International Consultant, Military Officer and two-time Fulbright Scholar

Patricia Meck, Actress (Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle and more)

Marilyn Soufer, Social Studies Teacher and Hall of Fame initiator

Thomas Tillett, Co-founder, President and CEO of MBF Therapeutics, an animal health biotech company

Karen Flieder, English Teacher, English Department Head and Co-creator of the Red & Black Night competition

Beryl Drexler, Head of HH Guidance Department and Co-creator of the Red & Black Night competition

Since 1991, 17 ceremonies have been held and close to 100 individuals have been inducted into the Hall of Fame.

The Ceremony

Hatboro-Horsham High School Principal Dennis Williams will open the morning ceremony at 9 .a.m. and invite student guides to escort each inductee to the podium. Candidates will address the audience, reflect upon their HH experiences and talk about how their futures were shaped by the District. Inductees will also share stories, memories and photos.

The event will be held at Hatboro-Horsham High School, 899 Horsham Road, Horsham, PA. The ceremony is free and will be followed by a luncheon. For more information contact Hatboro-Horsham High School Principal Dennis Williams at 215-420-550.

The buffet luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m., following the induction ceremony. The cost of the luncheon is $15 per person. For further information, call 215-420-5503 to make a reservation.
