EASTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA —State Rep. Nancy Guenst, D-Montgomery, has announced that the Hatboro-Horsham School District is among those in her district getting state grants.

Guenst said the grants were awarded by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency to improve safety, security, and mental health support for students and staff at schools across the Commonwealth, including in Montgomery County.

"Investing in the safety of our schools isn't just about erecting fences; it's about nurturing
environments where every student feels shielded and empowered to thrive,” Guenst said. “These grants signify our commitment to fortifying the very foundation of our educational system: the well-being of our students and staff."
