Hatboro Man Charged For Child Porn Possession: DA

A Hatboro man was arrested on child pornography possession charges on Monday, Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman announced.

Russell Hunt Bates, 33, was discovered by East Norriton Township police detectives that went undercover online, Ferman said.

“Hundreds of pieces” of child pornography files were suspected to be on Bates’ computer, according to the DA.

After a warrant was served at Bates’ home, 74 images and 2 videos were recovered which depicted children involved in sexual acts or poses, the DA said.
