The reporting adults provided the cellphone to a Hatboro detective, who reviewed the text exchanges, authorities said.
The detective then took control of the cellphone and communicated with Reilly, posing as the teenage girl.
During these communications, Reilly allegedly offered $300 for sexual activities and suggested meeting at the South York Road Wawa in Hatboro, authorities said.
He stated they would then go to his residence for sex, adding he would use a “rubber," authorities said.
Reilly arrived at the Wawa on Feb. 26, where Hatboro police officers met and interviewed him. His cellphone was seized during the encounter.
Reilly faces charges including Trafficking in Individuals–Recruit/Entice/Solicit, Unlawful Contact With a Minor, Criminal Solicitation–Statutory Sexual Assault, and Criminal Use of a Communications Facility.
He was sent to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
