Hatboro Man Remains In Serious Condition After 611 Crash: Report

The mother and the daughter severely injured in the crash on Route 611 on Thursday have had their conditions improved from “critical” to ”serious” and from “fair” to “good,” according to a report in The Intelligencer.

Cynthia Burton, 44, and her daughter Rebecca, 19, from Connecticut, were headed to Delaware Valley College along with Rebecca’s younger sister to drop her off for the start of college, the report states.

Hatboro’s Matthew Erwin, 49, remains in serious condition, according to the report.

Erwin was driving the Dodge Caravan that struck the Burtons head on, the report states.

It is not yet known what caused the accident and the investigation continues.
