The other man sustained cuts to his temple and arm and was transported to Grandview Hospital for treatment, police said.

Williams told police that the other driver tried to hit him. But the other driver —who had a “large laceration” on his head —said he thought Williams had hit his car, and when he got out to check for damage, Williams also got out of his car and started swinging the machete at him, according to reports.

The other driver says after he was hit several times in the head and arm, he grabbed the blade of the machete and held on tight until police arrived, KYW Newsradio reported.

The Montgomery Township Police Department assisted at the scene.
