Hatboro Names Downtown Development Director

HATBORO, PA — The Borough of Hatboro has named a new director of development for its downtown.

Bertram S. Gottbrecht, the owner of Hatboro Beverages on Jacksonville Road, takes on the post after owning a business in the community for more than 30 years, serving on the Hatboro Rotary and being involved with many local organizations though the years.

Gottbrecht also serves as a committee representative for Upper Moreland Township and is a member of the Delaware Valley University Business Advisory Board for its new entrepreneurship program.

"Bert’s personal businesses ventures combined with his degrees in Business Management and International Marketing/Management provide him with the knowledge and experience to guide and assist everyone from small business owners to large developers in Hatboro," the borough said in its announcement. "His love for Hatboro combined with his expertise will truly be an asset for Hatboro’s Main Street development for years to come."
