Hatboro To Participate In "Click It Or Ticket" National Initiative
In 2014, there were 383 fatalities in crashes where someone wasn't wearing a seatbelt, PennDOT says.

The Hatboro Police Department is teaming up with statewide agencies for the upcoming “Click It or Ticket” national initiative from May 18 through May 31, police said.
PennDOT and Buckle Up PA are partners in the seat-belt enforcement program, which will focus on enforcing the law overnight, according to police.
Police will target enforcement zones in areas which have had frequent unbelted crashes in the past, they said.

The law in Pennsylvania requires all passengers under 18 to be buckled at all times. Children under 4 must be restrained in a car seat.
In 2014, there were 13,627 crashes where someone in the car hadn’t buckled up, according to PennDOT statistics.
