Hatboro Student Turns Heads By Publishing Book

The 16-year-old was inspired by Presidential debates in 2008 and George Orwell's "1984."

A Harboro-Horsham High School student has published a book about immigration reform, according to a report by The Intelligencer.

When Clemont Lupton IV watched Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton debate in 2008, he was inspired to get into politics, according to the report.

Books like George Orwell’s “1984” also inspired him, the report said.

Because he is only 16, he can not yet vote, but he wanted to make a difference, the report stated.

He says the aim of the book, “The Labyrinth of Freedom,” is to help Americans identify and understand immigration and immigration reform, similar to how Orwell explained communism with “1984.”
