HORSHAM, PA -- Heavy damage due to a fire was averted on Monday evening as firefighters promptly contained and doused a blaze in a local apartment building.
The fire started at Blair Mill West Apartments sometime after 9 p.m.
It’s unclear what caused the blaze.

Horsham Fire Company was one of multiple units to respond.
The fire did incur some damage, but the worst of the destruction was prevented by firefighters.

Department of Emergency Management staff assisted residents after the blaze.
The fire was contained before 10 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
