Holy Redeemer Thrift Store in Need of Volunteers

The Holy Redeemer Thrift Store is in critical need of volunteers. Volunteers play a crucial role in assisting in a variety of areas including stocking and sorting inventory, assisting customers and serving as cashiers.

All proceeds from the Holy Redeemer Thrift Store benefit the Women’s and Children’s Services, which provides funding to the Drueding Center, the first Philadelphia transitional housing facility for homeless women and children, and the Holy Redeemer Maternity Center. In Fiscal 2015, the Thrift Store brought close to $200,000 which was split between Holy Redeemer Maternity Center and Drueding Center.

“The Holy Redeemer Thrift Store offers exceptional value to Holiday shoppers because its volunteers selflessly donate their time.”The Thrift Store is an excellent resource for unique gifts, house wares, holiday décor and seasonal apparel,” said Dowdell. “We also offer special gift sections, a silent auction section, and a Designer Boutique, where shoppers can get designer shoes, jewelry and clothing at significant savings.”

The Thrift Store also offers weekly specials including 25 percent off purchases for seniors and military personnel on Mondays, and 25 percent off purchases every Thursday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Holy Redeemer Thrift Store is located in the Town & Country Shopping Centre, 473 East County Line Road in Hatboro.
