Horsham Approves Master Plan For New Business Parks
A long stretch of Witmer Road could soon become a mixed-use business park.
HORSHAM, PA -- A proposed business park along Witmer Road has been approved by township council.
The board approved the plan after hearing Montgomery County Planning Commission representatives present on it on January 13, according to Montgomery News.
Officials noted that Horsham’s office parks “are aging,” and they need to be revamped to attract and retain companies looking to relocate, the report states.

The township’s office parks are currently 615 acres large with 3.5 million square feet of office space, according to the report.
About half of the buildings are from the 80’s.

The added space along Witmer Road would be a mixed-use space with apartments as well, the report states.
