A local fourth Grade teacher, Mrs. Joan Schwarz, will be honored at a special ceremony at an upcoming Phillies game.
The Queen of Angels' teacher ahs earned an Honorable Mention in the Phillies' Teacher Appreciation Competition.
"Mrs. Schwarz is a wonderful teacher and goes above and beyond for her students and Queen of Angels Regional Catholic School. Great job, Mrs. Schwarz," the school said. "This is an honor well deserved."

The Phillies are celebrating area educators during the 16th annual ENGIE Teacher Appreciation Night on May 13 vs. the Cincinnati Reds.
