Horsham Art Exhibit Showcases Work Of Military Veterans

The unique program provides an artistic outlet for soldiers that have returned from war.

When soldiers leave for war, they’re entering another world. And when they return home, things often aren’t the same.

Starting on June 26 and running through the first three weeks of July will be an exhibit designed to feature to the artwork of the region’s military veterans.

Many veterans that turn to the arts for careers and opportunities for self-expression, according to the Scatter Joy Center for the Arts, which will host the exhibit.

“ Providing a showcase for their work will be a point of pride for our entire community,” they said.

A portion of the art center’s proceeds from the sale of this exhibit’s art will go to Meghan’s Foundation, a regional non-profit organization whose primary objective is to create awareness and develop programs to support war veterans experiencing symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
