She will coordinate HBA events and promote businesses in the township.

An event is scheduled for Feb. 22 at the Manor House at Commonwealth for networking and to meet Mitchum.

The business association was formed last summer to pick up the torch from the Horsham Chamber of Commerce.

The businesses had been served by the Horsham chamber, which since the pandemic faced both financial and personnel challenges.

The Horsham Business Association will serve as a "dynamic platform" for local businesses, entrepreneurs, and professionals to connect, exchange ideas, and collectively contribute to the economic development of the region.

By leveraging the county chamber's vast network, resources, and expertise, the HBA will facilitate valuable opportunities for networking, education, and advocacy, ultimately empowering businesses to thrive in a competitive marketplace.

"Whether you're an established enterprise or a budding startup, the HBA is committed to providing the support and resources necessary to fuel your success," said Pam Kelly, president and chief executive for the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Montgomery County.

Kelly told Patch Wednesday that the association has made "great strides," starting from a member or two to 30 members since it was launched.

"We committed when we were established that the group would have a presence in Horsham," Kelly said. "We're really fortunate to find her."
