Horsham Citizens Municipal Academy Launched

The eight-week program will give residents the chance to get an inside look at the Horsham Township municipal government.

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —Want an inside look at local government?

Horsham Township is launching the Horsham Citizens Municipal Academy to give residents a look behind the curtain as part of an educational program to help foster connections between residents and local government officials.

The academy will start on March 6 and will operate as a free, eight-week program open to all Horsham residents ages 18 and up.

Residents will have the opportunity to learn more about their local government and how municipal services are provided in Horsham Township.

The program will feature hands-on demonstrations, tours, and fun activities. It takes place on Thursday nights from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and ends on April 28.

To join the next session of the Citizens Municipal Academy, please visit the township website to submit your application.

Space in the program is limited, so please submit the sign-up form and return it to Mike Shinton (mshinton@horsham.org) no later than Feb. 7.
