Horsham Couple Jailed After Alleged Pharmacy Robbery in Ambler
Tanitra Thompson Carpenter, 34, and William Carpenter, 33, were arrested after police said they robbed a Rite Aid on Monday morning.

A Horsham couple has been arrested for holding up an Upper Dublin pharmacy on Monday morning.
Tanitra Thompson Carpenter, 34, and William Carpenter, 33, have been charged with multiple felonies after allegedly holding up a Rite Aid on Bethlehem Pike in Ambler.
Police said the couple entered the store and pointed a weapon at an employee while demanding drugs, NBC10 reported.

As the couple was leaving, a shot was fired from the weapon, hitting Tanitra Thompson Carpenter in the leg, according to the Ambler Gazette. No employees were injured.
Upper Dublin Township police began the search for the couple and was later joined by Montgomery County detectives and Horsham Township officers, the Ambler Gazette said.

The couple was located at the Residence Inn in Horsham Township, where they live.
According to court documents, the couple remains in Montgomery County Prison after failing to post bail, which was set at $250,000 each.
