Horsham Crews Respond To Nearby Overnight Blaze: Officials

The house was evacuated in the middle of the night as crews from surrounding townships responded to the scene.

MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP, PA -- Fire crews responded to an overnight fire at a home in Montgomery Township early Wednesday morning.

The blaze was reported at 3:16 a.m. at 204 Livingston Court, according to the Montgomery Township fire department.

Crews from Montgomery Township, Lansdale, Hilltown, North Penn, Horsham, Chalfont, and Wissahickon, along with the VMSC of Lansdale (EMS) and the Montgomery Township Police Department, were dispatched to the scene, officials said.

The blaze was traced to the second floor bedroom, officials said, and all occupants were quickly accounted for and evacuated from the home.

By about 3:46 a.m., the fire was under control.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the conflagration is currently under investigation, the Montgomery Township Fire Marshal’s Office said.
