Horsham Fire Company Announces Officers For 2016

HORSHAM, PA - The Horsham Fire Company has announced its officers for 2016.

The organizational aspect of a fire department is something that is often overlooked, given everything else that they do.

“Today we’d like to call your attention to the third word in the (title),” the Horsham Chiefs Advisory Team said in a Facebook post. “That word is ‘Company”. Our Fire Department is a Company just like any other. Someone has to handle payroll, vendors, capital projects, insurances, training, human resources, supply and logistics. Oh and by the way respond to and run complex and dangerous fire operations all while working a full time job somewhere else and managing the pressures of family life, kids etc.”
