Horsham Goddard School Preschoolers Raise Money For Charity
Great work by local students to support an important cause.

HORSHAM, PA — Young students at a local school are already learning some important lessons about charitable giving, while helping the community out at the same time.
Preschool students and organizers at the Goddard School in Horsham put together their annual Summer Potluck again this year.
During the potluck, students raffled off donated gift baskets, and gave all of the proceeds directly to charity. All told, they raised $650.

The money was given to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, which supports impoverished individuals.
A representative from the Society, Lori Salvatore, visited the school to receive the check and spoke with the children, the school said. She thanked the students, gave them a "Certificate of Excellence," and named them "Mini Vinnies" (after St. Vincent) for their good deeds.
