Horsham Holds 'Keeping Kids Safe' Program

How to lower the risk of becoming a victim, what a kid should do in a "scary" situation, and how Horsham parents can protect their children.

HORSHAM, PA -- A program held at the Horsham Township Community Center on Friday night will address the safety of children and what parents can to do educate their children to keep them safe.

The event is free will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and is open to all ages.

The center is located on 1025 Horsham Road in Horsham.

According to the Hulafrog event description:

‘Keeping Kids Safe’ will address techniques to use to lower the risk of becoming the victim, what to do as a young child if they’re in a ‘scary’ position and the best defense to use to protect yourself if Mom and Dad aren’t around or out of sight. Although geared toward the young ones, parents will get some good information to consider. Presenters will be Jonathan Exaros of Kokoro Kai Martial Arts and Lt Jon Clark of the Horsham Township Police Department.
