Horsham Lions Club Offers $1000 Scholarship

Attention: graduating seniors in the Hatboro-Horsham area.

HORSHAM, PA -- The Horsham Lions Club is again offering a $1,000 scholarship for any Horsham seniors who wish to apply.

The Horsham Lions Club grants one scholarship to a graduating high school senior residing in Horsham Township.

The scholarship is awarded to help high school seniors with their post-graduate study at a college, university or trade school.

The award is given directly to the student, not the attending college, therefore can be used for any expenses connected with attending college. The scholarship selection committee views the applications “blindly” and the winner is selected by the criteria listed below, the Lions Club said.

The amount and quantity of scholarships varies each year. This year, one scholarship is available: the Hankin Scholarship ($1000) which is given in memory of Max & Janet Hankin, longtime Horsham residents and Horsham Lions supporters.
