Horsham Man Charged With Attacking Pedestrian: Police

A Horsham man who police say attacked a person who was walking their dog has been charged with assault, nearly two years later.

A Horsham man who police say attacked a person who was walking their dog in Warminster has been charged with assault, nearly two years after the incident. Micheal James Schuh, 42, has been charged in connection with an assault that happened in August 2016 along Madison Avenue in Warminster.

According to police, the victim was walking his dog along the road when they saw a car speed through a stop sign. The pedestrian yelled to the driver to slow down. Police said the driver — later identified as Schuh — came back, got out of the car, and assaulted the victim.

The victim suffered numerous injuries to his head and face, police said.

For nearly two years, the driver's identity eluded the police, however after numerous interviews and using cellular telephone technology, Warminster Detectives were able to identify Schuh.

He was arrested on April 8 by Horsham Township Police and later transferred to Warminster Police Department. Schuh was arraigned and held in lieu of $50,000, 10 percent bail.
