Horsham Man Jailed For Molesting, Giving Alcohol To Girl, 15

HORSHAM, PA — A Horsham man was sentenced to jail for giving alcohol to a 15-year-old girl and then having indecent contact with her, court documents confirm.

Michael James Forbes, now 24, will spend the next six to 12 months behind bars after pleading guilty to indecent assault and related counts, according to court documents.

The Times Herald first reported that Forbes was 22 when he drove the girl to an event in Philadelphia, giving her whiskey.

On the way back, Forbes met friends in a camping area in Marlborough Township and they drank, the report states.

Later he reportedly parked his car in a dark parking lot and proceeded to kiss her and have "other indecent contact."

Forbes expressed remorse for his actions in court.
