The IRS said that in March 2009, Foster opened a business checking account at TD Bank.

From Jan. 2013 to Sept. 2016, Foster used that account to deposit business receipts, while concealing the existence of the account from his company's accountant, authorities said.

Judge R. Barclay Surrick also handed down a sentence of three years of supervised release. On top of that, Foster owes $1,122,839 in restitution for his actions, according to court documents.

Editor's note: a previous version of this story included a typo which stated that Foster had been sentenced to 15 years in prison. He was actually sentenced to 15 months.
