Horsham Mother's Day 5K Raises Nearly $10K to Fight Breast Cancer
The walk, which benefits the Susan G. Komen Foundation, raised nearly $3,000 more than last year.
More than 700 people attended the 7th Annual Horsham Mother’s Day 5K on Sunday, raising almost $10,000 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
The walk, held at Deep Meadow Park, has been an annual event since 2008. It was started by a group of local mothers passionate about finding a cure for breast cancer.
In 2013, the event raised $7,000 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
