Horsham Police Officers Recognized For Community Service
Two police officers read to children and taught about bike safety at separate Horsham events recently. Donations were made in their names.

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —They protect and serve the community. And sometimes they read to children too!
Two Horsham Township Police officers were recognized recently for their work in the community helping to educate children.
"Our Protect and Serve Award recognition program sure has been busy these past few days," Horsham Community Policing Services said.

Police Officers David Breznicky and Chris Haber spent time with children at two separate events in the past week.
Breznicky dropped by the SMG Clubhouse last week to speak to children about bike safety and stranger danger.

The former park ranger's efforts is leading to a $25 donation to the Jarrett Nature Center.
"We can think of no better charity than the Jarrett Nature Center, which works to teach our children about nature," Horsham ChATs said. "So a $25 donation will be sent to them in his name." Thank you Officer Breznicky for your commitment to keeping our kids safe.

Meanwhile, Police Officer Chris Haber took a break from his patrol duties to read to children at the Chesterbrook Academy during National Reading Day.
"This act of mentoring our most precious asset, our children, is certainly an example of what it means to Protect and Serve," Horsham ChATs said.
A $25 donation is being made to the Horsham Library in Officer Haber's name.
The donations are from the Horsham Neighbor's Association 501C-3 PA registered charity.
