Horsham To Remove Numerous Trees Due To Invasive Beetle

The invasive emerald ash borer has wreaked havoc on the area around Lukens Park.

HORSHAM, PA — The invasive emerald ash borer has wreaked havoc on the area around Lukens Park, and now the township is forced to remove numerous dead trees.

Crews will begin work to remove the trees along Dresher Road on Monday, April 16.

Work is expected to last five to seven business days.

It will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A detour will take motorists from Gibraltar to Prudential and Witmer to Prudential during the road closure.
