Horsham Road Paving, Milling Work Begins
Township officials called Horsham Road more than a "pothole repair job" after winter storms damaged the state road.
HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — Horsham Road is a dangerous drive these days.
No matter how far up or down you go, the road is an obstacle course as drivers dodge the numerous potholes that have filled the road after numerous winter storms.
The state road was so bad that township officials grew frustrated as well, calling it one of the worst roads around.

Officials said that PennDOT began milling and paving on Horsham Road on Monday, with work expected to run through Friday, April 24.
Horsham Road is owned and maintained — including pothole repairs and paving — by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
Township officials said work will occur weeknights from 6 p.m. between Tournament Drive and Easton Rd (Route 611), with lane closures and flagging.
Officials had said that the road between Tournament Drive (Hatboro-Horsham High School) and Easton Road was starting to "crumble away."
Drivers should allow extra time or consider a different route, as delays are expected.
"Thank you for your patience as this much-needed work gets completed," township officials said.
