What business are you in?
"I have been a home-based Accredited Independent Travel Agent since 2004 working with an agency formerly located in Horsham as well as affiliated with a larger agency as an Independent Affiliate/Independent Agency assisting clients worldwide."
How did you think of the name?
"I created the name, All Places Traveled, LLC as I did not want to be viewed as specializing in one specific niche market. I can provide travel for tours, honeymoons, destination weddings, groups, cruises, all-inclusives, family vacations and more."
Why start a business in this town?
"As I have been a resident of Horsham since 1997, my business naturally is based in this community. As a home-based business, my biggest challenge is competing with the internet and low cost "deals". I feel I benefit my clients by providing personalized service and providing options to meet their budgets. Often clients turn into friends. You can't develop that type of trusted relationship online."
How does your business give back to the community?
"Royal Caribbean was selecting Travel Agents based on their community service efforts. In 2007, I was nominated for my volunteerism with organizing the annual St Baldrick's childhood cancer fundraiser events in the Horsham area (I organized and ran these events from 2003 until 2014). I had the honor of being nominated in the top 100 of 2400 nominations for the Godmother contest of the new Liberty of the Seas. The Godmother cruise was on the relaunch of the Majesty of the Seas. I met some of the most amazing women in the world! My goal as a business owner is to continue to support local charities and events and stay as involved in the community as possible."
