Horsham Soccer Hosts US Woman's National Team Goalie

HORSHAM, PA -- Saturday was an exciting day for soccer players (and fans) in Horsham.

US Woman's National team goalkeeper Jill Loyden was on hand at the Kohler Soccer Complex for a clinic put on by the Horsham Soccer Association.

More than 65 goalkeepers, from youth through high school, from youth thru HS age, scored some expert training from Loyden and her team from The Keeper Institute.

The clinic, which focused on goalkeeping, took all day and included two sessions.

"We want to thank Jill and her team for an unforgettable day of fundamentals and fun. We look forward to welcoming Jill & Co. back to the Kohler Soccer Complex for more clinics in the near future," wrote Bob Kent, in an email to Patch.

The day served as a "Spring Soccer Kickoff event" for the Horsham soccer group, which just installed new turf fields at Kohler.
