Horsham Township Holding 1st EcoVent Saturday

There is a tree giveaway, paper shredding, and an E-Waste area at the Horsham Township Municipal Complex.

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —It's time to EcoVent.

The township is holding its first EcoVent from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Municipal Complex at 1025 Horsham Rd.

Residents are asked to pull into the complex entrance between the Police Station and the Township Building. (This is a drive-through event.)

Attendees should proceed into the complex and head toward the back of the Community Center.
Volunteers will check IDs to confirm proof of residency. Non-residents will be asked to exit in front of the Community Center.

Residents participating in the event will head in the direction of either the Tree Giveaway, Paper Shredding, or the E-Waste area. You may re-enter the parking lot to take advantage of all three attractions.

When approaching the trees, a volunteer will ask you which tree you would like, locate the tree, and assist you in placing the tree in your vehicle.

Participants should not have to get out of their vehicles.

Residents are asked to bring their supplies: Tarps, trash bags, blankets, bungee cords, rope, or straps.

Upon exiting the area, you can scan a QR code with info on planting & caring for your tree correctly. If you do not wish to scan the QR code, all of the literature is on our website, https://ow.ly/uirb50TCE2J under News and Announcements for our EcoVent on the front page of our website.

When approaching the Shredding area please have your paper materials accessible from the backseat/trunk. There is a four-box maximum with no binder clips or plastic bags.

When approaching the E-Waste / Clothing area, please note any textiles must be dry and clean.

It's free to recycle most electronic devices or accessories. (small electronics, computers, cell phones, etc.)

Charges for large items (Microwave $15 – Window Air Conditioner $55 – TV/Computer Monitor 33 inches or larger with Cathrode Ray Tube $105, etc)

Cash is not accepted and people must pay with a credit card or debit card.
