Horsham Woman Named Temple's 'Great Teacher' of the Year
Dr. Jennifer Ibrahim of Horsham received Temple University's Great Teacher Award during a ceremony Monday.
A Horsham resident has received the year’s Great Teacher Award from Temple University.
Dr. Jennifer Ibrahim, associate professor of public health in the College of Health Professions and Social Work, has been honored by the university for her “innovative research in the areas of tobacco control and public health law while teaching undergraduate and graduate courses.”
Ibrahim was one of 10 “exemplary” faculty members honored at an awards luncheon Monday.

Ibrahim will receive a stipend and a commemorative sculpture, according to an article posted on the university’s website. “All recipients of the Great Teacher Award also have their names engraved on the wall in Founder’s Garden,” the announcement said.
In the coming weeks, winners will be profiled individually in Temple Today, the university’s website stated.
