HORSHAM, PA — Want to learn what it takes to be one of Horsham's finest?

The Horsham Citizens' Police Academy, now entering its 22nd session, offers residents the chance to immerse themselves in police knowledge, while also equipping themselves to help their community in the future.

"Our police departments are very proud of this program as it is an opportunity for us as law enforcement agencies to get to know our residents, their needs and concerns as well as for them to get to know how and why police officers perform their duties on a daily basis," said Captain Jon Clark, retired member of the Horsham Township Police Department and now the head of the Community Policing Program. "Many of our graduates stay active in our community policing programs and become the eyes and ears of our neighborhoods."
