House Fire Displaces Family In Horsham
Horsham ChATs said fire crews handled eight calls Thursday after storms brought flash flooding and power outages.
HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — With sirens blaring throughout the evening following torrential downpours and power outages Thursday, emergency crews had their hands full.
Horsham Community Police Services said the township's fire company and EMS crews handled eight calls for fire service on Thursday, including a house fire that forced a family to be displaced.
Meanwhile, EMS handled 15 calls following the storms, Horsham ChATs said.

The fire calls involved a house fire in the 1200 block on Limekiln Pike that took place at 9:30 p.m.
Horsham ChATs said damage to the home was minimal, and the family was assisted by members of the Department of Emergency Management.

There were also fire calls on the 50 block of York Road in Hatboro, the 400 block of Barbin Street, a building investigation on the 700 block of Lower State Road, a fire alarm on the 600 block of Misty Hollow Drive, a CO Detector alarm on the 100 block of Hunt Drive, and a building investigation on the 500 block of Lamplighter Road.
There was also a water rescue on the 200 block of Keith Valley Road from flash flooding, Horsham ChATs said.
Horsham ChATs is once again reminding residents that when the gates are closed on Keith Valley Road to not drive around them.
