HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —Residences are rising in Horsham Township.

At its recent Horsham Township Council meeting, Larry Burns —the township’s director of economic development —presented the annual Economic Development Presentation, which included a list of residential parcels that are under development.

Burns noted at least five projects that are ongoing throughout the township at the Oct. 11 council meeting.

The biggest project is the Regency at Waterside Development by Toll Brothers on Limekiln Road across from the Whitemarsh Memorial Park.

Burns said that Toll Brothers has sold more than 200 residences of its plans to build 500 homes on the former Limekiln Golf Club property.

He said 105 homes were sold last year. That number may be surpassed this year since 99 have been sold in 2023.

Meanwhile, he said there are four "beautiful custom homes" being developed on Rose Lane.

At County Line and Keith Valley roads, Hallmark Builders has sold out its 50 big lot single homes in the Oak Ridge Development, Burns said.

Carriage house construction at Liberty Ridge off Route 611 is also coming along.

Liberty Ridge by Pulte Homes at the former Hankin property has three different townhome designs. The 2,465-to-2,636-square-foot carriage homes are priced at more than $635,000 and will feature a walking trail that will connect to Maple Park.

"I drive through that every day and take a peak," Burns said. "I'm really curious to see when that's done."

Burns also said construction will begin soon on The Ave, an apartment building planned for Dresher Road.

The state-of-the-art apartments at 723 Dresher Rd. are being developed by Korman Communities.
