Interim Principal Takes Over At Hatboro-Horsham High School
Longtime Hatboro-Horsham High School Principal Dennis Williams's resignation was official on Friday.

HATBORO / HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — The resignation of Hatboro-Horsham High School's longtime principal went into effect on Friday.
High School Principal Dennis Williams has officially left the school district. He was replaced by interim Principal Angela Whalen, who took over on Monday.
Williams, a Hatboro-Horsham graduate, served as the principal of Hatboro-Horsham High School for two decades and worked in the district for 21 years.

Williams left the district to become the director of secondary education in the North Penn School District.
“Dennis Williams has dedicated his life to being a Hatter. He provided extraordinary leadership, care, and stability to generations of students, families, and staff. His leadership has been deeply rooted in a strong sense of community, tradition, and Hatter pride," Schools Superintendent Scott Eveslage said at the time the resignation was announced in early February.

Another principal, Karen Kanter, will be retiring after 23 years with the school district. She will leave her post at Simmons Elementary School, effective June 30.
The school district is now searching for replacements for both positions.
"These positions play a critical role in shaping the student experience, supporting staff, and continuing the strong tradition of excellence across our schools," school officials said.
