Job Fair At Montgomery Mall Looks To Hire Hundreds

Scheduled for October, the fair is expected to draw employers from around the area.

HATBORO, PA — Recruiters will be looking to fill hundreds of jobs at a job fair next month at Montgomery Mall.

The fair is set for Oct. 17 at the mall in North Wales. It's being put on by RecruitmentQueen, which has run similar career fairs in Bucks County.

"We’re taking our show on the road," said RecruitmentQueen CEO Jennifer Schultz, adding that several of the Bucks County employers that exhibit with RecruitmentQueen also hire in Montgomery County and Philadelphia. "I’m excited.Montgomery Mall has a large digital billboard outside advertising the job fair to traffic passing by."

Positions in a variety of fields are expected to be available at the fair, Schultz said. They include customer service, sales,management, insurance, administrative, banking, clerical, finance, healthcare, retail, warehousing and more.

Employers already signed up to participate at the Montgomery Mall fair include Children of America, Horsham Clinic, Friends Hospital and Life Path. Many more will be added by the time of the fair, according to Schultz.

She encourages job seekers to do a bit of homework before attending.

"Be sure to research the companies with career opportunities that most interest you," she said. "That insight could help you stand out from other candidates during face-to-face interactions."

She also suggests that job seekers bring several copies of their resume and dress professionally. Those planning to attend can complete a free profile on the RecruitmentQueen website and sign up to get job alerts.

The career fair will run from 9 a.m.-noon in the Macy's Court at the mall. Montgomery Mall is located at 230 Montgomery Mall in North Wales. Employers can register for the event here and job seekers can register here.
