Horsham Township

What: Fourth of July Ice Cream Social, Reading of Declaration of Independence

Where: Graeme Park, 859 County Line Rd., Horsham

When: Noon, Tuesday, July 4

Bryn Athyn

What: 2023 Independence Day celebrations.

Where: Downtown Bryn Athyn

When: Fireworks and picnic on July 3; Parade, speeches, and races on July 4.

Ambler

What: Ambler's annual Kiwanis Carnival and Fireworks — The five-night event will feature numerous community events, games, music, food, and more.

Where: Wissahickon High School.

When: Runs from July 4 through July 7, with fireworks at 9.m. Friday, July 7. (Rain date is July 8.)

Skippack Township

What: Skippack Village's annual Independence party features a parade, barbecue, crafts, drink vendors, and fireworks.
Where: Downtown Skippack and Palmer Park
When: 11 a.m. fair begins on July 4 followed by fireworks at dusk.

Glenside
What: The has organized a parade since 1904.
Where: Renninger Memorial Park and Abington Junior and Senior High Schools.

When: At 10 a.m. July 4, a Children's Morning Program will be held at Renninger Memorial Park. At 4 p.m., the 1.5-mile parade begins. Fireworks are scheduled "after dark" at Abington Junior and Senior High Schools.

Pottstown

What: Pottstown Go-Fourth. There will be a parade, street festival, live music, and fireworks, More information is available here.

Upper Merion Township

What: Upper Merion's July 4 Celebration. There'll be games, rides and family fun, all ending in a fireworks display

Where: Heuser Park, 649 W. Beidler Road, King of Prussia.

When: Tuesday, July 4, 5 to 9 p.m.

Bensalem Township

What: Free family fun in the Picnic Grove, and food and drink specials. DJ Tonka will be in attendance.
Where: Parx Racing, Street Road, Bensalem
When: Tuesday, July 4. Gates open at 11 a.m. and the first post is 12:55 p.m.

Upper Southampton Township

What: The 50th Annual Southampton Days Country Fair (Events, Parade, Fireworks). Visit SouthamptonDays.com for more information.
Where: Second Street Pike, Churchville.
When: July 3 to 8. On July 4, a baby parade starts at 9 a.m. followed by the main parade at 9:30 p.m. kicks off the day at 9 a.m., followed by the main parade at 9:30 a.m. Firework at 9:30 p.m.

Chalfont / New Britain

What: Tri-Municipal 4th of July parade. Visit chalfontborough.com for more information.

Where: Parade starts at the Town Center on Butler Avenue and Ute Road and ends at North Branch Park in Chalfont.

Lahaska
