Kamala Harris Political Cookie Available At Hatboro Bakery
Lochel's Bakery in Hatboro is making baking changes for the top of the Democratic ticket with its political cookies.

HATBORO, PA —Vice President Kamala Harris topped the Democratic presidential ticket after she was endorsed by the party.
Now she'll be getting her own cookie.
Kathleen Lochel, co-owner of Lochel's Bakery on South York Road, told Patch Wednesday that the vice president will have a blue cookie to replace President Joseph Biden, who dropped out of the presidential race several weeks ago.

They will also be permanently offered as the presidential campaign heads toward the November general election from Sept. 5 through Nov. 5.
Shipping is also available by ordering online through Nov. 1.
The bakery has sold its popular political cookies since 2012 and this year's cookies feature a red one saying "Trump 2024" and a blue one stating "Biden 2024" before he dropped out of the presidential race.
Lochel started selling the cookies for the presidential debate in late June and rolled them out again for the Republican National Convention. She will do the same for the Democratic National Convention.
The cookie sales were in the red with Biden's poor debate performance and Trump's assassination attempt.
