Keith Valley Staff and Students Do Ice Bucket Challenge in Honor of Retired Teacher

Dozens of Greg Telhorster's friends, colleagues and supporters took the challenge en masse to honor the retired Keith Valley teacher.

Everybody’s doing it…the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge! But for Keith Valley Middle School faculty, staff and students the challenge had special significance.

Dozens of Greg Telhorster’s friends, colleagues and supporters took the challenge en masse to honor the retired Keith Valley teacher. Telhorster, who worked as an art teacher and technology teacher at the middle school for 25 years, retired in 2007. Although he has amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), he attended the challenge to lend his support from the sidelines.

The Keith Valley challengers gave Hatboro-Horsham High School staff members the “ice cold shoulder” and called them out to take a cold bucket for ALS.
