Kitchen Fire Battled At Horsham Apartment Complex

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —Crews responded to the Addison Apartments Complex for a fire in an apartment early Friday morning, authorities said.

Horsham ChATs reported that at 12:22 a.m., the Horsham Fire Company was dispatched to a building fire on the 700 block of Lower State Road at the Addison Apartments.

Firefighters were assisted by units from the Wissahickon Fire Company and the Montgomery Township Fire Company along with an EMS unit from Volunteer Medical Services Company.

The fire was contained in the kitchen area of the unit, fire officials said.

Fire officials said no other apartments were affected.

One person was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.

Horsham Department of Emergency Management personnel were on the scene and assisted the family.
