KVMS to Perform The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe Musical

Kickoff your holiday season with Keith Valley Music Theatre as the Keith Valley Middle School acting group performs "THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE" musical, based on C.S. Lewis' timeless classic tale from his Chronicles of Narnia book series.

The story follows the four Pevensie children, Peter (Eric Bromberg, 8th grade), Susan (Kaitlyn Harrington, 7th), Edmund (Caleb Hansford, 7th) and Lucy (Anya Rosenbloom, 6th), who inadvertently wander through an antique wardrobe in Professor Kirke's (Ian Shaw, 8th) country mansion and discover an enchanted gateway into the magical land of Narnia. There, they encounter mythical creatures like the friendly faun, Mr. Tumnus (Zach Trowbridge, 8th) and talking animals like Mr. and Mrs. Beaver (Matt O'Donnell, 8th and Hayley Goldberg, 8th).

A epic adventure begins when the siblings realize that something is horribly wrong in Narnia. The wicked White Witch (Ava Nociforo, 8th) has cast a spell, bringing about an eternal winter. Now the children must find the courage to break this spell to reinstate Narnia’s rightful ruler, the majestic lion, Aslan (Aiden DeNardo, 8th), while also ultimately saving Christmas.

The show, performed by Keith Valley Middle School students, is produced by Jen Basmajian, directed by Barry Dougherty, with music direction by Ed Conrad and choreography by Caroline Butcher. This direction team previously brought audiences "THE LION KING, Jr." and "GREASE: School Version."

Show performances will take place on November 16, 17 and 19 at 7:30 pm and November 18 at 1:30 pm at Keith Valley Middle School.

Show tickets are available in the Keith Valley Middle School lobby this Saturday, November 4, from 2 pm to 4 pm, on Wednesday, November 8 and Thursday, 9 from 7 pm to 9 pm and on Saturday, November 14 from 2 pm to 4 pm.
