Late Horsham Community Member Remembered

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — Every December, the township hosts a Blue Light tree ceremony to remember the fallen police officers of Montgomery County.

For many of those years, Tony Colibraro attended the event.

"Tony cared deeply about the purpose of Project Blue Light," township officials said. "He attended the ceremony each year and for many years paid for the community dinner after the ceremony."

Last week, the township along with the Horsham Rotary Club dedicated a plaque in memory of a former Rotarian, resident and business owner.

Colibraro died at the age of 80 in October 2022.

The plaque sits at the base of the Blue Light tree in the Horsham Township Municipal Complex.

"We thank the Horsham Rotary Club, Colibraro Landscaping and Nursery, the Colibraro family and, most importantly, we thank and remember Tony Colibraro for all that he did for our community."
