Lawmaker To Host Mobile Mammography Unit In Hatboro
Mammograms are a critical tool in protecting women in the fight against cancer. A new program will make the screening available in Hatboro.

HATBORO, PA -- Mammograms are a critical tool in protecting women in the fight against cancer. To increase the accessibility of this vital screening, Rep. Thomas Murt (R-Montgomery/Philadelphia) has announced that he will host the Fox Chase Cancer Center mobile mammography unit at his district office on April 22.
“Mammograms are a critical tool in assessing a women’s health,” Murt said in a news release. “Don’t miss this convenient opportunity.”
The mobile mammography unit will be at Murt’s district office, 19 South York Road in Hatboro, on Friday, April 22, starting at 8 a.m.

Women who are interested in a mammography screening must be at least 40 years of age and have a prescription from their doctor to qualify. Health insurance will be accepted, but individuals who do not have health insurance still can qualify.
