Longtime Horsham Police Detective Retires

Congratulations to Horsham Detective Bob Waeltz on his retirement!

HORSHAM, PA -- Friday marked a bittersweet day at the Horsham police station, as the department bid farewell to one of its longest serving members.

Horsham Detective Bob Waeltz came into work for the final time.

According to Horsham Community Police Services, Waeltz has made notable contributions to the department's community policing program, including heading up the Project Blue Light program for the last 18 years.

"Bob is a dedicated husband and father and spent much of his later career working with our schools helping to keep our kids safe and on track," Horsham ChATs said in a social media post. "On behalf of all of us here in Community Police Services, thank you for all you have done for our Community, our kids and our program. We wish you a long, healthy and happy retirement."
