Mail Carrier Charged In Theft In Hatboro

HATBORO, PA — The Hatboro Borough Police Department has launched a mail theft investigation that may involve many residents — and a mail carrier has been charged.

Rashuan McCall, 32, has been charged with access device fraud and identity theft.

Police discovered the fraudulent use of a Home Depot credit card in which McCall was identified as the suspect.

Police said McCall was employed as a mail carrier at the time of the crime and had access to the mail.

As a result, police are urging residents who may have been expecting a credit or debit card in the mail over the past two months to contact them.

Any resident who has not received a credit or debit card that they were expecting should report that to the Hatboro Police Department.

Police said reporting the incidents are crucial in helping to combat mail theft and fraudulent activities.
