Man Faces 470 Child Pornography Charges In Horsham

Anthony Caprisecca had over 300 videos and 50 images depicting child sexual abuse material, police said.

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — A 36-year-old man faces nearly 500 counts of child pornography, police said.

Anthony Caprisecca was charged in April for the possession of child sexual abuse material.

A preliminary hearing was held Thursday before Magisterial District Judge Todd Stephens in which the criminal complaint was amended to include a total of 470 charges reflecting the extensive quantity of alleged child sexual abuse material that authorities recovered.

Seized electronic devices revealed more than 300 videos and about 50 images depicting child sexual abuse material, the Horsham Township Police Department said.

The investigation began in April when the Horsham Township Police Department received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children indicating that a Dropbox account had allegedly uploaded files containing suspected child sexual abuse material.

Detectives conducted an extensive investigation, including obtaining search warrants to identify the account holder and review the digital evidence associated with the account, which identified Caprisecca as the suspect.

Caprisecca is expected to be formally arraigned on Aug. 26 in the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas.
