Man Pistol-Whipped, Hatboro Police Seek Suspect

The Hatboro Police Department said a man pulled a gun during a fight Friday and then pistol-whipped and injured one of the men involved.

HATBORO, PA —The Hatboro Police Department is seeking the suspect who pulled out a handgun during a fight Friday and then "pistol-whipped” one of the men involved.

Hatboro Police Chief James Gardner responded to a report of a fight at 1:18 p.m. Friday in the rear of the 400 block of Jacksonville Road. Police were able to identify several of the individuals involved.

After investigating, police said an unidentified man who left the scene in a silver Ford Escape had pulled out and pointed a handgun during the altercation and then “pistol-whipped” one of the men involved.

An 18-year-old man received facial injuries and sought medical treatment on his own, police said.

Hatboro Police have released a picture of the man and are seeking his identity.

Police said they have information indicating that the altercation was not random but may have to do with an ongoing dispute with the parties.
